Croeso (welcome) to this website for St Paul’s United Church on Bangor Road in Penmaenmawr LL34 6LF. This site is normally updated on a weekly basis: last update was on 09/11/2016
On the north-west coast of North Wales, before us is the sea of Conwy Bay and behind us are the mountains, the foothills of Snowdonia. We hope you find something of interest to you.
In 1991 St Paul’s Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church in Penmaenmawr, came together to form St Paul’s United Church, on the site of the Methodist Church on Bangor Road, the only mainstream English-speaking (with some Welsh-speaking people!), non-conformist church in Penmaenmawr, as part of the Bangor & Holyhead Methodist Circuit, the northern most area of the Methodist Church in Wales and of the District of the United Reformed Church in Wales.
Church worship is at 11am on most Sundays through the year. Access for disabled people is from the main road, and Celyn Street at the side to the Church hall.
“As clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand,” says the Lord.
Lord, I offer you my life as your working material.
Make of me what you will.
Hold me in the rhythm
and movement of your Spirit.
Touch my wounds;
Transform my fears.
Shape me into courage.
Mould me into love. Amen.
A Welsh blessing
Hail guest, we know not whom thou art.
If friend, we greet thee hand and heart.
If stranger, such no longer be.
If foe, our love will conquer thee.

God bless you
